ETHICS & LEGAL COMMITTEE


Ethics & Legal Committee consists of 3 EC members – the President, Secretary and Treasurer along with 3 or more members from outside the Executive committee, to be selected as nominees by the EC.

Duties of this committee would be to

- Handle all legal activities to protect the Clinical Psychology profession in the state.

- If any member has to face profession related legal charge, the matter would be evaluated by the committee and if found innocent and has in no way breached ethical code of conduct, the association would support the person in the legal proceedings. (This coverage is only extended to those who are regular in paying the yearly maintenance fees.)

- To identify and send notices on behalf of the association to institutions employing unqualified persons as Clinical Psychologists

- Efforts towards encouraging Public awareness against quackery and provide support to them to register complaint against it.

- Specify an approximate fee structure to us as guideline for practicing clinical Psychologists
