Academics Committee consists of 3 EC members – the President, Secretary and Treasurer along with 3 or more members from outside the Executive committee, to be selected as nominees by the EC.
Duties of this committee would be to
- Inform the Government and policy makers concerning academic merits of clinical psychology profession and rectify current discrepancy
- To coordinate with the PVR Committee in identifying the qualification related discrepancy.
- Provide guidance to other committees to execute efforts towards rectifying irregularities through political lobbying or through legal action.
- To initiate, support and evaluate academic programs conducted by the various Chapters of the association.
M.Phil Student Orientation Committee consists of one representative from each of the RCI approved institutions. A young member campaign was to be done by each CP keeping track of clinical psychologists passing out of their parent institution. That person is also expected to carry out an institution – wise verification that we have included all Kerala CPs in the association.
